Brunel University London has invested over £400 million into developing a modern campus with state of the art sport, teaching and learning and living facilities for a diverse student, staff and faculty community. Brunel University London was founded in 1966 and is a campus-based university located in West London. The university has over 15,000 students, which includes an international population of more than 2,500 who come from over 110 countries. Brunel offers students the unique ability to study and live on a great modern campus while having close proximity to London. Heathrow airport is reachable in a 30-minute bus ride and the city center of London is reachable in about 45 minutes via either the Metropolitan or Piccadilly Tube lines. Campus Life

Brunel’s campus is located in Uxbridge, which is part of the London Borough of Hillingdon. Uxbridge City Center is a 15-minute walk or 5-minute bus ride from campus and offers everything you would need from supermarkets to major shopping complexes. On campus, you will find the student union, which is responsible for running all sports and society clubs for students, including study abroad, to get participate in. From state of the art, modern sport facilities to the creative arts center on campus, Brunel has a large number of activities to help you get involved.


Brunel study abroad student can choose from an array of academic subjects and courses while studying during the Fall, Spring or Full Year programs. You can choose from courses like anthropology, sociology, psychology as well as courses in sport, health and exercise science, theater, politics and history, economics and finance, film and television and lastly, English. UK universities expect students to self-manage their time between lectures, tutorials and independent study hours. Additional support services are available for study abroad students to help you adjust to the UK higher education system and be successful in your study abroad.

The requirements to study abroad in the UK and apply to the program of your choice are straight forward. In order to proceed with an application you need to make sure you have the following information:

  • Official academic transcript
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Personal statement
  • Module selection form
  • Copy of valid passport ID page
  • You will need to have at least a 2.8/4.0 GPA
