Summer programs are a great way to experience and see a lot of the UK quickly and inexpensively. You still get all the same benefits of a semester program including academic credit, specialized international student orientation, social programming and on campus accommodation, but you have the start date and length of program flexibility you need to accommodate your budget and busy summer schedule. This year two of our Scottish partners will be offering Summer courses, the University of Edinburgh and Stirling University.

The University of Edinburgh is Scotland’s capital university. If you are looking for fast-paced, urban-centred university living, then this is it. You would be in the heart of the city, surrounded by fun touristy things to do, see and experience and of course, you’ll be able to call Edinburgh Castle your next door neighbour! Classes at the University of Edinburgh vary in length and start date so please talk to your advisor about what you are interested in taking.

Stirling University is about an hour North West of Edinburgh and is set on a wonderful green, campus with their very own lake and castle. The town is small, friendly and welcoming to university students and is home to great transport links to Edinburgh and other parts of Scotland. If you’re looking for a picturesque Scottish location to explore the great outdoors and feel the sun on your face this Summer, Stirling is your home.

Ready to spend the Summer in Scotland? Applications are open now and we strongly encourage you to apply as soon as possible as Summer spots are limited. Speak to an Across The Pond advisor today or check out our Three Easy Steps to Studying Abroad this Summer blog post!
